Privacy policy
Last updated November 1, 2026
This document is a template and needs review by a qualified lawyer before use. It explains in plain English what personal data [Company legal name] (“Amplifical”, “we”, “us”), of [Registered address], collects, why we collect it and what choices you have.
Who this policy covers
[Company legal name], of [Registered address], is responsible for the personal data described here. Where data protection law uses the term, we’re the data controller.
This policy covers visitors to our website, people at brands and agencies who work with us, and creators who apply to or join our network. When we handle personal data on a client’s instructions, that client’s own privacy policy may apply as well.
What we collect
- Brand and agency contacts: name, work email, company, role, billing details, and the briefs and messages you send us.
- Creators: name, contact details, location, languages, portfolio links, sample videos, social handles, and payment and tax details. We also keep any profile details you choose to share so we can match you to briefs, such as your niche, your age range, your pets or your skin type.
- Website visitors: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, the site that referred you, and cookie identifiers.
- Anyone who contacts us: the details you give us and the contents of your message.
Some profile details can be sensitive, such as anything related to your health. Only share what you’re comfortable with, and we’ll ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Videos and photos made for a project include the creator’s image and voice. Creators must get permission from anyone else who appears in them.
How we use it
- To run our services, including matching creators to briefs, managing projects and delivering content.
- To vet creator applications and review samples.
- To pay creators and invoice brands.
- To answer questions and provide support.
- To keep our website and services secure, and to understand how they’re used so we can improve them.
- To send service messages and, where the law allows, marketing. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting duties.
In some places the law requires us to name a legal basis for each use. Ours are usually that we need the data to perform a contract, that we have a legitimate interest in running and improving our business, that we have a legal obligation, or that you’ve given consent.
Who we share it with
- Brands and agencies: when a creator applies to a brief, the brand sees their profile and samples. Finished content goes to the brand under the project’s usage terms.
- Creators: they see the brief and whatever else they need to deliver the project.
- Service providers: companies that help with hosting, file storage, email, analytics, payments and similar tools, which may include AI or automation tools. They may only use the data to provide those services to us.
- Advisers and authorities: lawyers, accountants and insurers, and public authorities where the law requires it.
- A new owner: if we sell or reorganise our business, data may transfer to the buyer under the same protections.
We don’t sell your personal data.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Essential ones keep the site working. Analytics and advertising ones help us understand visits and measure campaigns, and where the law requires it we only use these with your consent.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above. As a general guide:
- Project and billing records: for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
- Creator profiles: while your account is active, and for up to 24 months after your last activity.
- Unsuccessful creator applications: up to 12 months.
- General enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact.
- Website analytics: up to 26 months.
- Finished content: for as long as a licence is running, plus a reasonable period for our records.
Security and international transfers
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us straight away if you think something has gone wrong.
Our creators, clients and providers are spread across many countries, so your data may be handled outside the country where you live. Where the law requires it, we use safeguards for those transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Get a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that’s inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your data.
- Object to, or restrict, how we use it.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent you’ve given, at any time.
- Complain to your local data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, get in touch using the details at the end of this policy. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we’ll reply within the time the law allows.
Some data has to stay. Deleting a creator’s account won’t end a licence a brand has already paid for, for example, so the brand may keep running that content until the licence ends.
Children, changes and contact
Our services are for adults, and we don’t knowingly collect personal data directly from anyone under 18. If a child appears in project content, the creator must have consent from a parent or guardian.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page, and we’ll tell you directly if a change is significant.
